Connect with braindate at the ASOA Annual Meeting

What is Braindate?

You’re coming to the ASOA Annual Meeting to meet amazing people, swap ideas, and discover what’s new, so let’s make those conversations count!

With Braindate, you can join (or create!) one‑on‑one or small‑group conversations based on topics in the Braindate Topic Market. Want to brainstorm? Solve a challenge? Share expertise? Learn from someone brilliant? Braindate helps you do all of that, while introducing you to the people you want to talk to.

It’s simple. It’s smart. And it’s one of the best ways to make your ASOA experience unforgettable.

How to Start a Braindate

  1. Log in - Log in here (link to: http://ascrsasoa.braindate.com) sign in with your ASOA Annual Meeting badge ID and last name.
  2. Explore the Topic Market - Browse topics posted by fellow attendees and find ones you want to join.
  3. Create Your Own Topics - Post topics you’d love to discuss, schedule them around your availability, and book your braindates in the ASOA Networking Lounge.
  4. Attend Your Braindates - At the scheduled time, head to the ASOA Networking Lounge.

How to Host a Braindate?

Braindates aren’t presentations, they’re real conversations sparked by shared interests. To make yours meaningful (and memorable!), keep these quick tips in mind:

  1. Start with intros
Get everyone introduced and contributing right away.
  2. Ask what drew them in
A simple “What made you pick this topic?” opens the door to great dialogue.
  3. Share your experience honestly
You don’t need to be an expert, just be real.
  4. Stay curious
Everyone has something valuable to add. Think like a beginner, learn like a pro.
  5. Swap contact info
Great connections often start with one good conversation!
