A female patient was diagnosed as necrotizing scleritis secondary to Wegener Granulomatosis. The large scleral defect was closed with a single piece of autologous fascia lata. After the fascia lata was attached to the underlying tissue with fibrin glue, modified diagonal reinforcement sutures were placed. The sutures remained intact and the defect was completely closed in 2nd year follow up.
