In this film — where a patient is referred due to a disinsertion of the capsular bag/IOL complex, following an elbow injury during a soccer match — we demonstrate how a CTS can be implanted in a straightforward and safe manner. With anterior vitrectomy, CTS placement in the bag and Gore-Tex CV8 with scleral fixation we could ensure stability and recentering of the IOL.
